MIDI FILES

All the MIDI files on this page were sequenced by Charles Alexander Hay.
They are reduced versions of the original sequences to accomodate the General MIDI format.

Because of this, either some of the data had to be omitted, or a 64-voice sound
source is needed for proper playback. These sequences are offered "as is".

I got your e-mail and zips o.k. Thanks very much. I am very impressed with both the sequencing and the arrangements and I am only sorry that you didn't have all the songs. I've sent a cassette of the songs to our director and a copy of your e-mail r.e. accreditation on the programme. Once again thanks very much, and I will keep in touch, and if you did have the rest of the songs well...... Please note my change of e-mail address ;-)

Congratulations!, these are beautifully done. I have alway loved "Joseph" and only ever found a poor rendition of "Any dream will do". Thank you for the listening pleasure. I have a Yamaha DB50XG, so believe me it is a pleasure!

Do you plan to do all the pieces from Joseph? (Say yes, pleeezzz (as my kids would say)).

I have recently downloaded your JOSEPH midi files from the net and wanted to drop you an email to let you know how WONDERFUL they were. I am a huge JOSEPH fan and also a growing midi-freak. I appreciate the time and talent that went into sequencing the two songs I have found:

Prologue/Any Dream
Jacob and Sons.

WOW!!! From one Joseph fan to another_.thanks for your hard work on the 2 files I've heard so far.

Most Sincerely,

Richard J. Hinkelman

Dear Charles

Thank you very much for the files. Yes I got the midi files and they have been very helpful for the transposition, nice arrangements too. If we use your arrangements in the production I'll make sure they're credited and send you a programme. Thanks once again for your help.

All the best.

Charles,

I'm working on a production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor

Dreamcoat for a small community theatre in Draper, Utah.  I've downloaded

your arrangement of 'Jacob and Sons.'  I was impressed.  I'm wondering if

you've done any others from Joseph.

Thanks,

Adam

Subject: Midi files
From: "Ernst van Erkelens"

Hallo Charles,

I just downloaded 2 of your midi files from http://www.meowser.com/musicals/ShowsA-Z/J/jesus_christ_superstar.htm We want to play JCS in februari next year. Therefore I am looking for some midifiles we can use during our rehearsal hours. I was deeply impressed by the quality of your midifiles. Do you have more midifiles from JCS ??

We are a Dutch amateur musicalgroup with about 100 members. Last month we played Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  We are playing in a modern theater with 700 seats.  We have an orchestra with 10 to 30 people so we don't use your midi files during the play.

Best regards,
